Baba Kedarnath Finds New Home In Delhi: A Historic Day For Devotees

Kedarnath Dham is one of the most attractive spots for people who are looking to gain spiritual liberation, but due to weather conditions, it is not open for visitors for almost half a year. To solve this problem, the Shri Kedarnath Dham Delhi Trust is organizing a grand program in Burari, Delhi, on July 10, 2024. The trust plans to build a grand temple of Baba Bholenath in Delhi like Kedarnath Dham, so devotees can visit and receive the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Speaking to the media before the program, Surendra Rautela, Founder and National President of Shri Kedarnath Dham Delhi Trust, said, “Crores of people have faith in Baba Kedarnath, and keeping that faith in mind, we are going to build a temple of Baba Bholenath here.
More than 5000 people are expected to attend this program, and our preparations are also going on at the same level. Actually, in Uttarakhand, devotees are not able to visit Baba Kedarnath for 6 months due to snow. But with the construction of this temple in Delhi, devotees will be able to visit Baba Kedarnath for 12 months. I am hopeful that this temple will be ready in two years."

Under this program, a Kalash Yatra will be taken out from 8 am, after which there will be a havan-puja and then bhoomi puja. The stone brought to Delhi from Kedarnath Dham will also be worshiped in this program. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami and Shri Shri 1008 Niranjan Peethadhishwar, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand Giri Ji will be present as the chief guests in this program. Apart from this, devotees will also get the holy company of famous storytellers Shri Gopal Mani Ji Maharaj and Shri Kanchan Giri Ji Maharaj. Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Shri Ajay Tamta, all MPs from Delhi, and Shri Surendra Rautela, Founder and National President of Shri Kedarnath Dham Delhi Trust, will be present at the program.

People who cannot witness the divine essence of Baba Kedarnath due to not being able to visit the temple in Uttarakhand have nothing to worry about now because they will be able to see Baba Kedarnath in Delhi. As the area in which it is being built does not have any extreme weather conditions, devotees will be able to visit Baba Kedarnath and receive his divine blessings throughout the year.
